DJ Slowz (@slowznguyen) is a Vietnamese DJ, producer, and cultural practitioner whose work is deeply rooted in hip-hop, vinyl culture, and musical preservation. Emerging from the B-boy scene in 2004, he developed a lifelong connection to breakbeats, rare records, and rhythm-driven expression.
Today, with over 250,000 followers on IG, Slowz is recognised as one of the leading figures in Vietnam's hip-hop movement and a driving force behind the revival of rare South Vietnamese music from the country's pre-1975 golden era. Through DJing, sampling, live performance, and dedicated archival digging, he bridges generations—connecting contemporary audiences with Vietnam's rich musical heritage while creating a dialogue between past and present.
